Anyways- Thought we'd jump right back into our favorite topic.
Food.
(ugh..)
So, as you all know, we're making changes, eating healthier, working out, the whole nine yards.
But what do you do, when you're at work and someone orders the office pizza?
Or someone decides to bring donuts for breakfast?
Or you have to go out for meetings/etc.?
Lucky for you, ALL 3 of these sitches happened to me THIS WEEK.
Tuesday- we went out. Elephant Bar (oooomg).
Here's what I did. Pulled up the menu on the way there, found out they have this awesome new salad. It sounded ( and was) delish & had just the calorie range I had been searching for! Totally helped to know ahead of time what I was going to order (take that tempting menu).
Wednesday- Pizza Delivery.
I don't know if you guys know this, but pizza is my favorite thing, like, ever. (Minus Chanel lipgloss)
So, I grabbed my lunch, retreated to my office, and closed the door.
Out of sight, out of mind. (Always pack a lunch, Bs.)
Thursday- Donuts.
Ugh. The word donuts alone just makes me happy (but not my bod).
For me, the trick to this, is keeping healthy snacks at work at the ready.
Instead of grabbing my typical old fashioned sugar coated choice, I grabbed my yogurt (Tillamook. Bit more calories but pretty natural & pretty damn good), my banana, and my coffee.
It saved my day.
I'm proud of myself (it's the small victories).
