So, YIKES. We are signing up for a 5k. We know, we know. 3.1 miles? Not too bad. But... these Bimbos are reppin' 10-12 minute miles (on a good day). A little embarrassing. I guess every Bimbo has to start somewhere. While we were online searching for a 5k that we wanted to do we came across an iPhone app called, Couch to 5k. The first thing we thought was, "how did they know we're sitting on the couch!?". Obviously we decided to purchase the app ($1.99). Usually these budget friendly bimbos are all about the "free" apps, but we thought we could use a little extra help. So this morning we tested the app out. WE LOVE IT! It gives you a 9 week work out plan to get you ready for your 5k and provides a "trainer" who yells at you through your earbuds (there are also motivational trainers if you're into that sorta thing...). How perfect is that? Not only do we get to jam out to our cardio playlist, we also get "Sergeant Block" yelling at us to "pound pavement" and get a move on. I highly recommend this app for anyone looking to get ready for a 5k, 10k, or even just to improve your endurance.
