From December 2013 - March 2015 I have successfully lost about 40 pounds. Although this is huge progress, I know that there is still so much more I can lose! I have invested lots of time (&money) into getting my butt in shape. I have found a gym where the people have become my family. And I have found a sport that I love doing. However, I have seemed to hit a plateau.
Talking to my trainer over the past few months, we have gone over various diet and exercise plans. Though I have seen results, I have not been seeing results to the extent that I want. So Tuesday, during my session, my trainer & I decided I need to try something out of my comfort zone and "detox". We decided I would go Vegan for 22 days + avoid all alcohol. Those of you who know me, know that I am the Anti-Vegan. Steak, SAUSAGE, bacon... these are a few of my favorite things. I am sad I will be without for the next few weeks, but I am looking forward to the challenge and cannot wait to see what this does for my mind, body, and weight loss journey!
