Is it Monday already?! It's crazy how fast the weekends seem to fly by. We thought you Bimbos probably missed us & figured we would share what we did this weekend.
Gab made a trip down to Sunny Southern California for Cheer. (She coaches a JV Cheer team and woohoo they got 2nd place! YAY!)
Anywho, we know how hard it is to be out of town and maintain a healthy lifestyle. I mean, you have to eat out almost every meal, everyone else is pigging out, and when and where are you supposed to work out?! The problems just keep piling up! But are they really problems, or are they more of "excuses"? This weekend Gab decided to take the healthy route (or at least attempt it). Gab managed to stay away from breads all weekend and focused on ordering soups or salads, bananas and other fruit for breakfast, and even avoided our bff Diet Coke! Not only that, but Saturday morning before the competition she was even able to get a work out in!
Usually after a weekend away we come back and feel like we are back at square one. Is it even worth it? You go away for the weekend, you eat and eat, you don't work out, and then you come home and what do you have? An extra 3 LBs to get rid of! We know these aren't huge milestones, but they're steps in the right direction. Basically Bimbos, what we're trying to say is, there are no excuses. Just try to pick the healthier menu items when you're out to eat, squeeze in a workout when you can, and order a damn glass of water to drink! Stay happy & stay healthy!
Bye Bimbos!
