So we have not really been skipping, but we have definitely been working on our jump rope skills! Our good friend Gen told us she's been doing 1,000 jump reps every morning.. so we thought we would "hop" onto her cardio bandwagon and join in! Let us just tell you, we are SORE! We've been doing cardio for quite some time now but when it comes to the jump rope, no other cardio compares (at least to these bimbos). Our thighs feel tighter, booties a little higher, and tummies a little flatter. Had we known jumping rope were so good for us, we probably wouldn't have turned in our jump ropes for lipgloss when we turned 14 (just kidding, life without gloss? no thanks). We are so glad Gen mentioned it to us! Not only is it a great all over body workout but we have a good time doing it. We have been taking turns doing 250 jumps a piece (because we only have one rope, oops). So it's basically like doing intervals! Which works out great. We have been trying to do the intervals at least twice a day. Once in the morning and again later in the evening. Our goals are to be able to do 500 reps without having to take a quick break and be able to do some of the more "challenging" jumps (it's embarrassing to watch our attempts..).
So Bimbos, if you have 10 minutes to spare, grab a rope and get jumping. Your Bimbo Booty and the rest of your body will thank you. We promise.
